Night 2

Gympie- Aiden Raymont , Toowoomba - Nathan Macdonald , Gympie- Adrian Stott , Gympie - Jamie O'Meara , Casino- Max Clarke , Lismore - Warren Dhu , Gympie- Gavin Lorensen , Toowoomba - Rodney Pammenter , Gympie - Todd Doyle , Mackay - Wayne Gilroy , Gympie - Mark Raymont , South Burnett - Gavin Fletcher rounds out the heat winners from Sunday night.

C Main was won by Kane Heidke , 2nd Joel Thomas & 3rd Michael Budgen.

B Main was won by Nathan Macdonald , 2nd Shannon Blackburn , 3rd Gavin Fletcher , 4th Gavin Lorensen.
They all transferred to the A Main .

A Main : Aiden & Mark Raymont started off front row & that is where they stayed the whole entire race. On the start of the A Main , on the back straight , a car mid pack clipped the wall and all the drivers were trying to avoid being cleaned up. Unfortunately we did lose a car - Gympie's own Gavin Lorensen, who was at the back of the pack, who tried duck down on the track , but was clipped by a car and his front right on the G11 broke from the steering components & then wheel went under the  car & Gavin was ready for launching .

On the line up's once again a few hits up the boots of the cars and 2 more were infield. Nathan Macdonald , Adrian Stott . There night was done.

Travis Hutchison ,Todd Doyle ,Darryl Etherden , Shannon Blackburn were all pulling in as the laps were being buzzed off by Aiden Raymont.

Aiden lead the whole entire race , with sometimes 1/4 lap in front of 2,3,4.

Young gun (Victorian)Ty Galley finished 9th overall for the weekend . His father Bryan - didn't have much luck over the weekend , ended up hurting the engine, so all eyes and hands were on deck for young Ty .

Tony Coomber has bounced back from a massive crash he had last aussie open , where he crashed out on the first night . But this weekend he has  finished the A Main in 14th .

Australia 1 Max Clarke finished 13th in the A Main . Excellent to see him back behind the wheel after he rolled the car a few weeks ago at Toowoomba.

David Jacobi finished in 3rd place overall for this weekend's Kingfisher Bay Resort Aussie Open .

Cooroy Auto Wreckers had 3 cars in this weekends Aussie open and all 3 cars finished with the placings of 1st, 2nd & 6th.

Aiden wins the Kingfisher Bay Resort Aussie Open 2011-2012, 2nd Mark Raymont , 3rd David Jacobi .
